Our goal is to make things simple, fair, and hassle-free. We offer a 24-hour money-back guarantee to give you peace of mind when trying our services.

Key Definitions

  • Booking: Any service request or match made between a Client and Service Provider on the V4Parents platform.
  • Cancellation: When a Client or Service Provider ends a booking before the service is delivered.
  • Refund: The return of any payment made for a booking, processed back to your original payment method.
  • Service Start Time: The agreed-upon date and time when the service begins, as listed in the booking details.

Cancellation Process

Cancellations are easy and can be done through your V4Parents account dashboard, the mobile app, or by emailing us at info@v4parents.com. Here's how it works:

  1. Before Service Starts: You can cancel at any time before the service start time without penalties. We'll notify the other party (Client or Service Provider) immediately.

    Example: If you book a parenting consultation for next week and decide to cancel today, just hit "Cancel" in your booking details.
  2. After Service Starts: Once the service has begun, cancellations may not be possible, and refunds will depend on the progress (see Refund Policy below). For ongoing services like subscriptions, cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

    We encourage open communication—if there's an issue during the service, reach out right away so we can help resolve it.
  3. No-Show or Late Cancellation: If a Service Provider doesn't show up or a Client cancels with less than 24 hours' notice, the platform may charge a small convenience fee (up to 10% of the booking amount) to cover administrative costs. This fee is clearly stated during booking.

Refund Policy

We stand behind our services with a 24-hour money-back guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied, we'll refund your full payment—no questions asked—within the first 24 hours after booking. Beyond that, refunds are handled fairly based on the circumstances.

  1. 24-Hour Money-Back Guarantee: Request a full refund anytime within 24 hours of making a booking. This applies to first-time users or any eligible booking.

    How to Claim: Go to your account > Bookings > Select the booking > Request Refund. We'll process it within 3-5 business days. Refunds go back to your original payment method.
  2. Refunds Before Service Starts (After 24 Hours): If you cancel more than 24 hours before the service start time, you'll get a full refund minus any non-refundable platform fees (typically 5-10%).

    Example: Book a family counseling session for Friday and cancel on Tuesday—full refund (minus fees).
  3. Partial Refunds: For cancellations between 24 hours and the service start time, or if the service was partially delivered, we offer prorated refunds based on time used.

    Example: If a 2-hour session was only half-completed due to an issue, you may get 50% back. Our team reviews each case individually.
  4. No Refunds After Service Completion: Once the full service is delivered and marked as complete by both parties, refunds are not available. However, if there's a valid complaint (e.g., service didn't meet agreed standards), we may offer credits for future bookings or mediate a partial resolution.

    We don't refund for personal changes in mind after service delivery—our focus is on quality assurance upfront.
  5. Special Cases: Refunds for force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, illness with proof) are considered on a case-by-case basis. Subscriptions can be canceled anytime, but no prorated refunds for the current month.

Refund Processing and Timeline

  • Approval: Most refund requests are approved within 24-48 hours after review.
  • Processing Time: Expect funds in your account within 3-10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider (e.g., faster for cards, slower for bank transfers).
  • Currency and Fees: Refunds are in the original currency. Any bank or third-party fees are not covered by us.
  • Disputes: If you're unhappy with a refund decision, contact us first—we love resolving things amicably. If needed, you can escalate to your payment provider or local consumer protection agency.

Additional Policies

  • Non-Refundable Items: Platform subscription fees, one-time setup charges, or digital downloads (e.g., parenting guides) are non-refundable after access.
  • Chargebacks: We discourage chargebacks as they harm our small business. Please use our refund process instead—if approved, it's faster and fee-free for you.
  • Taxes and Duties: Refunds exclude any taxes or duties paid, which may not be recoverable.
  • Changes to Policy: We may update this policy occasionally. We'll notify users via email or on the platform. Continued use means you agree to the updates.
